About Me: | DZK Biography:
Da Zoe kiddz also known as D.Z.K is a rap group in Orlando florida, the group is part of the Rap Kreyol Movement but make all sort of music. All members of the group are originally from Haiti, the group basically established on June 2007 When Markenlove Jacques (Mic-J) got together with Woodson V (Vixama) then came up with the idea of forming a music group. Both Woodson and Mark really didn’t have any clue how this group scenario was going to work, so they began recruiting for more members. There was Judnor Daseme (Black Judnor), Pierre Richard (young killa), then finally there was junior Daseme (DJ Blackout). So three more members were added to the group. As the group began to records tracks trouble were soon to find them, as we all know when it’s a rap group there’s always going be conflict, another word “beef”. DZK started dropping out singles after singles so things was great for them. They were making a name for themselves in town but other group weren’t so happy about it. Known as Mega click, the new boys in town suddenly wanted beef with Da Zoe Kiddz. What started as a misunderstanding suddenly turns into explicit lyrics against each other, as thing were heating up fights were happening constantly, Mega click jumped someone from DZK then DZK jumped someone from Mega click. Things were getting pretty ugly. After months of verbally disrespecting each and almost killed each other, the boys from both sides finally call for a truce. Spring 2010 the group started falling apart, Woodson was about to graduate from High School, Young Killa, Mic-J and black Judnor had moved out of town, which leaves Woodson record by himself. Although the group had separated Woodson V and Mic-J had always kept in touch with each other, the two always had high expectations and hope for the group. Their ambition and love for music had kept them believing that the group could soon reunited or rebuilt once again and get back to doing what they do best which is recording great music. Almost a year later winter 2012 Mic-J and Woodson V once again wanted the group back together. As the two remaining member of the group they felt something else was missing, as they call it, “New Flow”, 2 new members with different style of rapping and who better candidates than Jerry “Ray-J” Guillaume and the one and only James “Brain-G” George . As the two join the group the boys feel that it’s a perfect combo, as they say when they put their minds together they create great product and they feared no competition as they have confident on themselves. The group is currently working on the first album together “Profet Rap La”, as aspect by many to be a great one. |
