About Me: Bronxmob was started and formed in 1993 with DJ/Producer Hektek and childhood friends who grew up together in the Bronx, New York known as Joe Pope, Robert Ruckus, Vocab, Sinistyle, D.E.P.H. da Majesty. Some of the most talented up and coming rap artist who bring their own unique lyrical skill and style seperating them from your average rap group. Bronxmob is strongly influenced by the many music pioneers from The Mecca of Hip Hop. They began recording rap demo tapes as a hobby in the late 1990's. 2002 Taking their musical talent serious Bronxmob started working with other underground emcee's recording songs in the studio. 2003 Bronxmob promoted their first underground single "The Introduction" which was played on several college radio stations across the U.S. The single well recieved lead to it being featured on Puerto Rico's In The House (HipHop, Rap, Reggaeton) Magazine as well as compilation Album of Polish rapper Gorzki "Rap Style 2". 2004 Bronxmob were featured on the single "That's underground" on Album of French rap group Alktraxx "Reve D' Enfant". Later that year The Bronxmob discovered and added Da Bronx Profit to their team, young talented emcee producer and started recording in the studio as part of the group. 2005 The Bronxmob performed live on several college radio stations, cable access, commercial TV channel MUN2 "The Roof" and 2006 performing at the Puerto Rican Day festivals in The Bronx, NY and Brentwood, LI. February 2007 The Bronxmob Album was distributed and released by (Smile Heart, Soundmen on Wax) in HMV Tower Record stores in Japan. 3 months after Bronxmob were invited to Tokyo to be on a promotional tour that would include attending their Album release party and performing opening up for the G-unit fashion show, Lloyd Banks concert. During their time in Tokyo Bronxmob were also featured freestyling on the Real Street Dance Vol 1 DVD. Back in The Bronx the group began preparing for the summer release of the Album in The U.S. but was set back do to one of the group members being arrested and incarcerated. On June 2007 Bronxmob were officially signed to Blunt Squad Recordings independent music label who will be releasing the long awaited "The Bronxmob Album" Tuesday September 25th 2007. The Album will be containing 16 songs produced by Hektek bringing you lyrical tales and views from the inner city streets of the Bronx, NY. Guest featured appearences by Blunt Squad/Bronxmob affiliates Sinistyle, King Kamonzi, Da Bronx Profit, and Alley Matill. One of Bronxmob's goals is to put the borough where Hip Hop started back on scene deminstrating its new raw musical talent.
